With HAL, Jasper Morrison has created a new interpretation of the multifunctional shell chair, as well as a broad chair range with a distinct, contemporary look. The shape of the HAL shell provides plenty of freedom of movement and is slightly yielding to permit a number of seating positions – including sideways and astride – to ensure a dynamic and ergonomic posture.
The variety of bases, materials and colours in the HAL range enable a range of possible combinations that can be used for many different purposes both in the office and public spaces as well as at home.

Materials
HAL Ply Wood has a non-stackable wooden base in natural or dark oak or black-pigmented walnut. Connecting parts between shell and base are die-cast aluminium powder-coated in dim grey.
Plywood shell is available in natural or dark oak with a protective varnish or black-pigmented walnut.
Glides for hard or soft floors.
