Grasshopper Chair by Finn Juhl for House of Finn Juhl.
Designed in 1938 for the guild exhibition alongside Niels Vodder's cabinets, the Grasshopper chair was a sculptural and unique design, in contrast to other work displayed at the show. In order to avoid a loss, Finn Juhl bought the two chairs he had designed.
Until now they have not been in production. An iconic chair which marked Finn Juhl's first attempt at expressing artistic freedom in the form of furniture.

True to its design in 1941, the Pelican chair is manufactured according to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Its low wooden frame is richly padded and upholstered by hand, and the legs are made of solid hardwood. Legs available in a choice of solid walnut or oak.
